Delivery
How long will my delivery take?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 working days. Delivery is then 2–4 working days via DPD courier or pallet network depending on your order size. You will receive a tracking link once your order has been dispatched.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to addresses in England and Wales only.
How will my order be delivered?
Smaller orders are delivered by DPD courier. Larger or bulk orders are delivered by pallet network. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only — please ensure suitable access is available at your address.
Do you offer next day delivery?
We do not currently offer guaranteed next day delivery. Our standard delivery is 2–4 working days from dispatch.
The Wood
What moisture content are your pizza logs?
All Pizza Logs are kiln-dried to below 20% moisture content, independently verified and certified by Woodsure as Ready to Burn.
What wood species do you sell?
We supply premium birch and reserve oak, available separately or together in our Signature Collection.
What size are the logs?
All logs are cut to 25cm in length with a diameter of 5–15cm — the ideal size for most pizza ovens.
Which ovens are your logs suitable for?
Our logs are suitable for many wood-fired pizza ovens including Ooni, Gozney, Clementi, Alfa, and built-in wood-fired ovens. If your oven has a firebox that accommodates 25cm logs, with a width from 5-15cm, Pizza Logs will work perfectly.
Can I use your logs in a standard wood burner or fireplace?
Yes — our kiln-dried birch and oak are suitable for wood burning stoves, open fires, and chimineas as well as pizza ovens. Alternatively, www.theforestfirewoodcompany.co.uk deliver Kiln-dried logs within The New Forest, Hampshire, Dorset & Wiltshire.
The Box
What size is the box?
Our 40L boxes measure 450 x 300 x 300mm and contain approximately 40 litres of kiln-dried logs.
How long will a box last?
It depends on the size of your oven and how long you're cooking for. As a guide, one of our commercial restaurant customers uses around 40 litres of kiln dried birch — lighting the oven 2 hours before service and cooking for 5 hours. Many customers order two boxes at a time to make sure they never run short.
Orders and Returns
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards through our secure online checkout.
Can I return my order?
If you are a consumer purchasing for personal use, you have the right to return unused goods within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us at sales@theforestfirewoodcompany.co.uk to arrange a return.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and we will arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
Do you offer trade or wholesale pricing?
Yes — we supply trade customers including restaurants, catering businesses, and pizza vans. Please contact us at sales@theforestfirewoodcompany.co.uk for a trade price list.

What is Woodsure Ready to Burn?
Woodsure Ready to Burn is the UK's leading certification scheme for firewood. It confirms that wood has been independently tested and contains less than 20% moisture — meaning it is ready to use straight away and burns cleanly and efficiently. All Pizza Logs products carry this certification.
